HISTORICAL SITE COMMISSION

Present: Commission members Fisher, Flood, Pelick, Peters, Woodring
Meeting called to order at 7:45 P.M. by Rob Fisher, Chairman
1. The minutes of the previous meeting were approved as written.
2. Old Business
a. Communications – None
b. Train Station Project
The Historic Site Commission wishes to compliment the Borough on their action of subordinating their ownership of the train station to mortgage of the Chamber of Commerce.
Nick Pelick reported that contributions have amounted to $24,884.50 to date.
Contributors: Industry 46.5%
Banks 30.0%
Retail merchants 13.0%
Citizens 8.4%
Service Clubs 1.7%
3. Report of the Chairman
Rob Fisher stated that Manpower has approved the plan to begin registry of historic sites. Applicants are presently being interviewed. Hopefully, the Commissioners will assume the funding after the first year.
After informal discussion of various issues, the meeting was adjourned at 9:00 P.M.
