-A phrase from the 1976 incorporation document will be
used in the letter: “To expand, foster and promote the
spirit of Bellefonte”. We have programs that have been
in place since the early 1980s. Dave Eggler & Melady
will work on the text. Jim will do the layout and
coordinate the mailing.Pastel Society of Central Pennsylvania - through January 13 State College Photo Club - January 14 - April 13, Reception: January 24, 7-9 PM Art of the Bellefonte Schools - April 14 – June 1, Reception: April 24, 7-9 PM Mailing List - Joann suggested checking the MLS closing notices as a way of tracking real estate transfers. We can also check transfers online through the Centre County Govt. website, but there is a fee associated with it. Jim will look into methods of updating the list. Victorian Christmas Arts & Crafts Show - To date we have 49 vendors committed and $5800 in fees collected plus there is a peanut vendor in the Middle School who will share 50% of his profit. There will be buy & sell vendors and non-profit organizations in the Middle School gymnasium. We need 2 volunteers each for the Elementary and YMCA on Friday evening to help vendors unload and locate their apaces. Sally is coordinating the Middle School. True & Jim are the coordinators for the Elementary School and the YMCA. Other Business: Colina is recovering from her surgery. The Arts Administrator position has been suspended
Dave Kurtz
is investigating the possibility of a kayak event
during Victorian Christmas. Kayak activity in
Spring Creek in Bellefonte brings quite a few
visitors to Bellefonte for competition and
training.
