Present: Romayne Naylor, President, Jim Dunne, Secretary, Dave Eggler, treasurer, Nancy Miller, Jeanne Newlin, Joseph Griffin, Colina Seeley, Ralph Seeley, Philip Ruth, Mack Mahan, Melady Kehm, Dave Kurtz, True Fisher, Sally Houser. A quorum was in attendance as defined by the BHCA bylaws.
Minutes – Minutes of 2016-10-21 were approved (Nancy, Sally)
Treasurer’s Report (Dave Eggler) - BHCA paid $3200 to Baker Tilly Virchow Krouse LLP accounting firm for a financial review that was required because BHCA collected more than $100,000 in charitable donations for the fiscal year 7/1/15 - 6/30/16. Accountants’ Conclusion: Based on our review, we are not aware of any material modifications that should be made to the accompanying financial statements in order for them to be in accordance with the modified cash basis of accounting. Summer Sounds - (Nancy Miller) - Efforts will begin in January for the 2017 concerts.
Sunday Afternoons at the Library – Sundays, 2:30 PM, Centre County Library Historical Museum

February 12 - Revamped Duo - Violinists Mark and Sally Williams Minnich
Victorian Christmas (Sally, Jim) - Status update: Greens are getting very expensive. Volunteers are needed for Vic Christmas and the Arts & Crafts Show. Jim suggested that if the Arts & Crafts Show was limited to one day and Victorian dress were optional it would aid in getting more vendors.
Poetry (Julia) - The readings by Robin Becker on November 11 was well attended and well received.

Old House Fair (Joseph, Melady, Jeanne), April 28 & 29, 2017 - Joseph reports progress with food, programming, and fundraising.
Historic Preservation (Jeanne) - Congratulations to Dave Kurtz and the Bellefonte Freight Warehouse for receiving one of the 28th Annual John H. Ziegler Historic Preservation Awards of the Centre County Historical Society.
Talleyrand Park (True) - The Park received a Center County Conservation District Award (nominated by Ann Donovan). The pergola fence needs repaired. The sign for the fountain relic will resemble the sign in the sculpture garden. That format is being considered for all the park signs.
Destination Bellefonte Marketing Committee (Sally) - Money came in for the Welcome Center. The professional marketing team will be kept on as consultants. The marketing plan from Kish Marketing will be run locally by professional volunteers.
New Business - Joseph Griffin was elected BHCA vice-president. A Board meeting will be scheduled in January.
Next BHCA Meeting: 7 PM, Thursday, January 12 at the Bellefonte Art Museum.
