Present: Romayne Naylor, President, , Joseph Griffin, Vice-President, Jim Dunne, Secretary; Dave Eggler, Treasurer; Gay Dunne, Melady Kehm, Keith Koch, Nancy Perkins; True Fisher, Jeanne Newlin, Joanne Tosti-Vasey, Sally Houser, Nancy Miller, Karen Arnold. A quorum was in attendance as defined by the BHCA bylaws.
Minutes – Minutes of 2017- 02-16 were approved (Joanne, Joseph).

Summer Sounds (Nancy Miller) - An application needs to be submitted with the Borough. Dave will do the Garver Fund application

Afternoons at the Library
- Sundays, 2:30 PM, Centre County Library Historical Museum. The concert
featuring Amanda Silliker, mezzo-soprano, and Svetlana Rodionova, piano, was
well attended and well received.

Victorian Christmas (Sally, Jim) - The High School as a venue has not yet been secured
Poetry (Julia, Patrick) - Out Loud at the Bellefonte Art Museum. The March 17, 7:30 PM - Young People’s Poetry was cancelled.
Poem in Your Pocket - April 14, Friday, 7:30 p.m. Audience members share favorite published poems in celebration of National Poetry Month.
Elder Voices in Centre County - May 19, Friday, 6 p.m. New Writing by members of groups facilitated by Abby Minor
Old House Fair (Joseph, Melady, Jeanne), April 28 & 29, 2017 - OHF website should be online shortly.
Historic Preservation (Jeanne) - Joanne reported the closing for the Gamble Mill is scheduled for April 5.
Report on Curtin
Village: Lots of physical exterior work done. Kitchen renovation almost done.
Paddle Park: DEP & Fish Commision reps met with Dave Kurtz to evaluate for
stream restoration. They suggested an emergency application to restore
the stream to how it was.
Temple Court opening was Friday, March 17. VFW will not be moving to the
Mattress Factory. The Presbyterian Church is in need of restoration (Karen)
Talleyrand Park (True) - HBI will provide $1000 for Park signs. The Edible and Pollinator gardens are scheduled for spring maintenance and planting. True is presenting an Olli course on Talleyrand Park on April 24.

Next BHCA Meeting: 7 PM, Friday, May 12 at the Bellefonte Art Museum.
