Ruth. A quorum was in attendance as defined by the BHCA bylaws.Minutes – Minutes of 2018-01-12 were approved.
Treasurer’s Report (Dave Eggler) – The Arts & Crafts Fair donated $2000 to Talleyrand Park. Click here to read the report.

Poetry (Julia, Patrick) - There was a good turnout for the very entertaining Bellefonte Moth

Old House Fair (Joseph) - June 8,9, 2018. BHCA will transfer $1598 to the Centre County Historical
Society for last year’s fair.
Historic Preservation (Jeanne) - Board of Directors almost Complete. The 501(c)3 application has
been submitted. The foundation address: PO Box 307.
Talleyrand Park (True) – There will be yarn bombing in Talleyrand Park adjacent to High Street on
Bellefonte First Sunday in June (June 2, 3) cosponsored by the Bellefonte Art Museum. A grant will
be used for construction of an angled access from High Street to the brick walk over the raceway to
allow handicapped access. The pergola will be repaired in April. Construction of the Spring Creek
west bank riparian buffer will begin in June.
New Business – Discussion of the planned Nestle water bottling plant using Spring Township
Well #2. Public meeting Wednesday, Feb. 28 at 7pm. The meeting will be held in the Spring
Township Building. Other meetings on this subject: March 12(6:30-8:30 pm, hosted by Nestle),
March 14 (6:30-9:00 pm, NO to Nestle sponsored by the Sierra Club Moshannon Group and Nittany
Valley Environmental Coalition), and April 18 (time to be determined, hosted by Spring Creek
Watershed Commission), all at the Central Pennsylvania Institute of Science and Technology (CPI),
540 N. Harrison Road, Pleasant Gap.
Next BHCA Meeting - 7 PM Thursday, March 15 at the Bellefonte Art Museum (confirmed)
