Committee Reports
Summer Sounds (JoAnn Knupp) Written report: June 16 will be the Beatlemania concert. Kevin at Big Spring Spirits contacted me and we're working together on this concert. He will be having a wine tasting 2pm-5pm and the Cast of Beatlemania concert will be 7p.m. Kevin and we have to provide sound people and a big tent which is costing a lot of extra money. So it is a big help to work with Kevin. We've gathered up $5,800 in donations. There's 1 donation I don't know the amount of yet. The Moose will provide the guys supper. Kevin will provide them snacks in the afternoon I will put them up Sunday night at the Best Western on Shiloh Road. We got 4 rooms ata $50 each and a fifth free.

Poetry (Julia, Patrick) - 7:30 p.m. Bellefonte Art Museum May 17, Friday - Lifting Up Under-Heard Voices Celebration of diverse words and stories. Hosted by Abby Minor and Ridgelines Language Arts

Old House Fair (Joseph) - New Logo for Old House on the road.
            WINDOW RESTORATION WORKSHOP June 8, 2019 @ 10:00 am – 3:00 pm $50
            Phil Ruth - The 1868 house - to be scheduled

Historic Preservation (Nancy) - Ted Conklin will build a video cabinet. We need painter for the new doors. The committee is working on the text for the foundation brochure including planned giving, and buildings at risk.
 
Talleyrand Park (True) - New Walking Tour maps are available at the Train Station. Brick Walk project underway. BHCA to sponsor a brick (Romayne, Nancy P.)

Bellefonte Victorian Christmas - Arts & Crafts Show - No report.

Old Business - Bellefonte.com http://www.bellefonte.com/ Discussion of tabled motion. After a lengthy discussion we approved a open trial “until we don’t want to do it any more” (Joseph, Dave E.). It may take 6 months to a year to assess results. We can use the articles with a Bellfonte.com credit as we wish. Articles will automatically be streamed to our website.
