Bellefonte Sunday Afternoon Chamber Music Series at Trinity UMC, 2:30 PM - Feb. 16 - Revamped Duo - Mark and Sally Minnich, violinists March 29 - Zephyr Trio-Diane Toulson and Cathy Herrera, flutes, Anne Sullivan, harp The Rick Hirsch concert was excellent, but low attendance.

Poetry (Julia, Patrick) - 7:30 p.m. Bellefonte Art Museum Friday, March 20, Poet Robin Becker
     Julia has funding and arranged “Creative Place-making in Rural Places” by Samuel Dodd and Angela Sprunger of Ohio University for 3/28, probably at the APS,10-12 AM. Topics: 30 mile meal/art; opioid epidemic; others, they may be receptive to suggestions. Ohio Valley Center for Collaborative Arts (website). BHCA can be a sponsor. Joseph suggested a snack tray. Joseph will survey the creative place-making literature.

Old House Fair (Joseph) - Center County Home Show. The OHF may have a table. No meeting ye planned. Dick may be a presenter. Looking for 2 more presenters. Philipsburg, Curtin Village or Penns Valley may be sites for On The Road.

Historic Preservation (Jeanne Newlin) -(1) Wilber Fisk Reeder 1855-1904 house report. Jeanne had pictures. Some trim is missing. Jeanne met with great granddaughter, Patty Reeder Shakeroff (?). WFR worked with Daniel Hasting and accumulated his wealth. He was Deputy Attorney General under Hastings, became Mayor of Bellefonte in 1891. Jeanne showed Reeder’s National Guard uniform coat. A friend of Jeanne who lives in California is donating money to the Bellefonte Historic Preservation Foundation for paving the roads in Union Cemetery. (2) Freight House will have the leaky roof repaired this spring. A source for strip lighting in the display case has been located.

Talleyrand Park (True) - True has resigned as Talleyrand Park Committee Chair and will be replaced by Andrea Murrell, a member of the Committee.

Bellefonte Victorian Christmas (Sally) - No Report

Old Business - Tabled motion to fund signs: motion to take off the table passed. After discussion, the motion to contribute funds was defeated by voice vote.

New Business - Bellefonte.com. After a long discussion Phil made the following motion: After this period of trial we are in consensus as an organization that it is not a good match editorially for our needs. Jim as our contact will terminate our business association with Bellefonte.com. (Phil, Joseph). The motion was passed unanimously.
